Another additional way to promote your content is by Really Simple Syndication (RSS). This is when content is shared to other websites right after they have been summarized. Video marketing is rapidly on the rise. How to use Article Directories

For everyone who wants to get ranked on Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engine websites, MUST do some sort of article marketing. Article directories consist of submitting material to article directory links who will have a backlink that links directly back to your “money site.” After submitting your article, you are giving other website owner’s permission to republish your article and put it on their website, which is a great notion being that your money site will be advertised all over the web on different sites.

There are some advantages of article marketing. One, of course are the backlinks that are given to you from the article directories and anyone else who decides to publish your content. Another advantage is that you will be able to traffic your backlinks. First, you have to use the “Account Creation” project and sign up for a free account with the article directories.  Then, use the “Article Directory” project to submit an article. You can either write the content yourself, or you can outsource it, but you should make sure you don’t hold back on any content that you feel needs to be in your article. Having no less than 500 words or more is the smart thing to do, especially because some directories will not even look at anything that is less than 500 words.  Also, you should optimize your keyword in the article and throughout the first and last paragraphs of your content.  Be sure to use your anchor text for the link that goes back to your “money site.”

Keywords should not be the only place where Meta Tags are being used around the webpage. It should be used all throughout your site. Headers and Subheaders should contain your keywords and should also be used all over your page, preferably only the H1 and H2 tags. It is important to try to only use those two tags because as you know, the header tags go all the way up to H6. However, the higher the number that is on the header tag, the less value it becomes.

 Links on your webpage should contain your keywords as well. Using links for keywords is just another easy way for Google, Yahoo, Bing and others to know what to expect on the page that is being linked. For example, say you have a webpage about digital cameras, and you want to link another webpage on yours for the public reviews for digital cameras. Use “public reviews for digital cameras” as the link text. Whatever you do, NEVER use “click here” for the link text. “Click here” can be a virus for all the search engines know. It is important to have your webpage content and links be as clear as possible so the search engines know what to expect next. This clarity will also give you a better chance of getting crawled and indexed

One of the best ways to optimize for a keyword is the file name you choose to save under. This is another aspect of on-page optimization that should be short, sweet and to the point. For example, instead of saving under “user-guide.html,” try saving under “digital-camera-user-guide.html,” substituting the spaces between each for hyphens.

When building your webpage, your keywords should only be separated by a comma, without any spaces. (keyword1,keyword2,keyword3,etc). A page should not have more than 10. Also, try to have a different variety of keywords. Having many different keywords rather than many that are pretty much the same word will help the search engines find your webpage easier.
